Formed in 2003, TCB are a software services company providing expertise in
product-centric architecture and agile delivery to the telecommunications
industry.
We have worked both across all strands of the industry; mobile, fixed
line
and content delivery.
Our management team has over 20 years experience within the industry,
and
have a proven track record of delivery of complex enterprise projects.
We have a wealth of first hand experience of agile delivery in such
environments.
Peter Harper
Peter Harper is the Technical Director of TCB, and has over 10
years experience working within the telecommunications industry. With a history
rooted in development he has extensive on-the-ground experience of the
architectural difficulties and challenges within customer driven environments
and has an enviable track record in delivering projects using agile methods.
His breadth of experience encompasses both the commercial and the technical and
covers the complete spectrum from architecture through to implementation. He has
led numerous teams successfully within large, complex, enterprise environments
and has worked in broadcasting, content services, mobile and fixed line
industries.
For the last year he has lead and mentored a team within a leading entertainment
and communications company, delivering product catalogue capability using agile
methods.
He is always happy to discuss your needs and suggest how TCB may be able
to help your
organisation.
Simon Jones
Simon is lead trainer at TCB and has been around since the
early nineties. He is interested in the 'commercial dynamic' of software
development, ie. how to turn projects into sound
investments. Originally from a technical background he now concentrates
on the organisational, behavioural and social aspects of software
delivery.
He is an advocate of Agile Software Development because
'...[it] can produce the best empirical and logical evidence for its
successes and can correct many of the problems that have arisen from the
continued over-emphasis of methodology. It's an approach for the
practioners, those of us who must make our living doing it'.
He always enjoys correspondance, but prefers snail-mail.
